Hi Lachen and Aksel - Shawn and Anna, too!! We sbsolutely love those hockey pictures! Grandpa made copies of them so I can put them on the wall in my office and right now they are on the bulletin board in the kitchen above the phone. We watched the videos of Lachen and Aksel skating and we both noticed a lot of improvement. It showed up especially in Aksel's skating and, because Lachen can already skate pretty well, the improvements he makes aren't as noticeable. Grandpa and Grandma are both so proud of you boys!
Shawn, this is for you!! Yesterday I had lunch with four of my friends from HR who no longer work at Lockheed Martin. Being the proud Grandma, I was showing them pictures of Olivia, Kayla and the two hockey pictures of Lachen and Aksel. When Kay saw the pictures of the boys, she started laughing and said, "I remember when Lachen was born, Shawn said that at a hockey game, the name will sound really great when the announcer says, "Scoring, Lachen Reid". I can't believe your words made that much of an impression that seven years later she still remembers!! We're having a gorgeous fall day here. The leaves look beautiful and it's a sunny day with the temps in the 50's. Grandpa just brought the mail in and what a surprise it was to get the school pictures. Both boys took great pictures!
